[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Carlotta Bolognini was born in Rome on June 22, 1961. She grew up in a wonderful family where cinema was art breathed at home. Nostalgic for the old cinema she decides to see old friends, through an invitation to dinner. All sons of art, with various parents which spent the most lighthearted and funniest years of their lives: childhood and adolescence. Carlotta's father producer Manolo is with them, seated at a table in an ancient castle. Through memories, stories, movies, photos and historical documents, our protagonists evoke the beloved Italian cinema. A journey into the past to relive the nostalgic 50 years of Italian film history. This resulted in her involvement in the industry first as a child actress which eventually led to a career as a screenwriter and producer.
Carlotta’s love of cinema and her history of the people she grew up with in the industry resulted in her co-writing the film “Figli del set” (Children of the Set) about the children of Italian movie makers.
Carlotta’s only Spaghetti western was Paoletta in 1977’s “California”. Starring Giuliano Gemma.
