Hermann Boettcher was a thrater and silent film actor born on November 21, 1866, in Königsberg, East Prussia, Prussia. He appeared in around a dozen films from 1921–1932. With the era of the talkies his career in front of the camera came to an end. He then became a cinematographer.
Hermann married Katharine Wilhelmine Mathilde Dänhardt [1866-1946] on March 27, 1895, in Berlin, Germany.
Boettcher appeared in only one Euro-western “Das Mädchen aus dem goldenen Westen” in 1922.
