Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Joseph Allegro

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Joseph ‘Joe’ Allegro remains an enigma as I can find little to nothing about him. Joe as he was called sang with several orchestra's including Morty Craft and his own band ‘Joe Allegro and His Rockers’. He recorded under such labels as Teller House, RCA Victor, and Ronnex Records, Mohawk, Cham, End, Wizz, Laurie and Libert from the early 1950s to the mid-1960s and a single recording in 1976. He was a co-founder of Amalgam Films and still active as a producer in 2005 with co-producer credits for the documentary “Billy the Kid: The True Story”.

We think there's another Joe Allegro who is a guitarist and was in ducted into the Delaware Music Hall of Fame in 2018.

ALLEGRO, Joseph (aka Joe Allegro) [19??, New Jersey, U.S.A. -     ] – producer, cameraman, singer, actor, member of “Joe Allegro and the Rockers", co-founded Amalgam Films.

The Great Adventure – 1974
