European Western Comic Books – ALBI HELIOS (Il Cavaliere Rosso > Bob di Sumatra > Ivo e Marisa)

This comic book series released a total of 34 issues divided into three series with non-progressive numbering.

Series I #1 (October 21, 1951) - #13 (January 13. 1952)

Series II #1 (February 10, 1952) - #13 (May 4, 1952)

Series III #1 (June 24, 1952) - #8 (August 18, 1952)

Series I The Red Knight (CR). Each issue contained 16 pages with a color cover. Second part of the Sitting Bull adventures written by Marjac and drawn by Pierre Duteurtre (Dut); covers by Gino D'Antonio. The first two books are in color. From #7 the cover work changes.

Series II Bob of Sumatra (BS). Each issue contained 16 pages with a color cover. It contained The Adventures of Bob and Ted in the tropical seas in search of their missing mother, written by Angelo Saccarello and drawn by Giuseppe Perego (G. D'Arc). The books have double numbering: inside that of the series and outside that of the head character. In the left corner there is a stamp for a prize competition.

Serie III Ivo e Marisa. Each issue contained 16 pages with a color cover. 16 pgg. + cop. - 21,2 x 14,6 pm - Lire 25). New series for the ALBI HELIOS a series that expands the format. The story begins after a brief introduction in cover II. Images were provided by Nestore Corti.

This weekly publication was started in 1951 with #1 on October 21, 1951 and ended a year later with #34 on August 18, 1952. Printed in Milan, Italy by ADC under the direction of Luigi Della Casa.
