Baldo
Created by Luciano Bottaro in 1952, Baldo is a nice sergeant of the “Giubbe Rosse” (Canadian Mounted Police aka Red Coats). In the 1960s and 1970s it was successfully published in France and Germany (there renamed Sonny Sam). Guido Scala contributed to the stories of the Sixties. The character is published in Le gaie fantasie (Alpe, 1953-55), Rin Tin Tin & Rustie (Cenisio, 1961 and 1965), Penna di Falco (Cenisio, 1961), Silvestro (Cenisio, 1965-66) and L'uomo Uncle (Cenisio, 1967).
