How the cult film was created - a look behind the scenes
of the filming.
With "The Treasure in Silver Lake" launched in
1962 one of the most successful film series in German cinema history. The
adventures of Karl May's heroes Winnetou and Old Shatterhand thrilled millions
of moviegoers and generations of readers. The popularity of these films is
still unbroken.
The Berlin Rialto Film, which produced the "Schatz
im Silbersee", opened its photo archive for the first time. Here were
hundreds of pictures that provide a detailed insight into how this cult film
was created. This illustrated book takes you behind the scenes and shows actors
and the shooting team at work in the former Yugoslavia.
In the case of cinematographic films, their genesis is
documented from the outset by their own camera teams, and this is used in
advertising as well as bonus material for marketing on storage media.
With the photos of set photographer Gerd-Victor Krau,
this is now possible in a similar form for the first time for a film that
reached cult status not only in Germany: "The Treasure in Silver
Lake".
"The most beautiful of all Karl May films"
With enclosed original shooting plan in DIN A1
