RIP Thomas Schüler



German stage and voice actor Thomas Schüler died on August 9th. He was 67. Schüler appeared at the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg, Germany as Winnetou from 1976-1980. A trained stage actor he was the only actor to have played the Apache chief shirtless. Schüler was also the German voice of Matto-Sih in the 2002 WinneToons TV series and the 2002 film derived from the series WinneToons: The World of Karl May.

      It was a lousy performance and seriously lacked the youthfulness Len Carlson put in the role, but still.
