
He began his film career in “Akasztottak
erdeje” starring Liviu Ciulei, directed by Liviu Rebreanu which was taken from
the novel. He was a guest actor in 1970, in Peter Bacsó’s featured film “Kitörés”.
He moved to Hungary in 1977 and became a member of the MAFILM theater company.
At the 1978 Cairo Film Festival he won the Best Actor Award. He was hired in
1984 as a member of the The Veszprém Petőfi Theatre.
Ferenc appeared in only one
Euro-western as Harry Shot in “Armed and Very Dangerous” (1977).
Ferenc Bencze died in Budapest, Hungary
on September 7, 1990.
Today we remember Ferenc Bencze on what
would have been his 90th birthday.
