From June, in Ponta Delgada, the admirers of the
spaghetti Western, or Italian Western, very popular genre of decades 1960s,
1970s and 1980s, will have the unique opportunity to view four films that made
the delights of young and not so young with such popular actors of the time as
Giuliano Gemma (Montgomery Wood or), Lee Van Cleef, Craig Hill, Fernando
Sancho, Alberto Dell'Acqua (aka Robert Widmark), Nello Pazzafini, Dan Vadis,
Chuck Connors, among others, and filmmakers as Tonino Valerii, Enzo G. Castellari
and Giorgio Ferroni. This cycle was only possible due to the kind support of
the Publisher "Wild East Productions based in New York. All movies are in
its English version and subtitled in Portuguese. It will take place in June the Spaghetti Western festival in Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel Island-Azores Islands). The films are (English titles): June 9 – KILL THEM ALL AND COME BACK ALONE June 16 – TASTE OF KILLING June 23-FORT YUMA GOLD June 30 – DAY OF ANGER This Spaghetti Western Festival it's possible due the kind support of Wild East Productions.
