Marcello Fondato was born on January 8, 1924 in Rome, Italy. Marcello started as a screenwriter, working with Luigi Comencini and Mario Bava. He spent the last fifteen years of his life a long way from the world of entertainment, in San Felice Circeo, here however he created a Teatro Stabile of which he was the artistic director, taking advantage of the company by writing "The Timid". Here in San Felice Circeo he died on November 13, 2008.
