From the Nocturno website and Marco Giusti comes word that Italian cinematographer and assistant director, Franco Villa, passed away on October 12, 2009. Villa was a photographer and cinematographer on over 20 Eurowesterns in the '60s and '70s. He did a lot of his work with Fernando di Leo and most of his westerns were second tier or 'B' films. Still looking at the list below you'll catch a few gems such as “My Name is Pecos” (1966) with Robert Woods, “Bury Them Deep” (1968) with Craig Hill, “A Man Calles Apocalypse Joe” (1970) with Anthony Steffen and “Black Killer” (1971) with Klaus Kinski.
