RIP Aaron Schroeder

American songwriter and composer Aaron Schroeder passed away in Englewood, New Jersey on December 1 of Alzheimer's disease. He was 84. Schroeder was credited with writing over 2,000 songs, among them several hits for Elvis Presley “It's Now or Never” , “Stuck on You”, and “A Big Hunk O' Love”. Born on September 7, 1926 in Coney Island, New York, Schroeder was part of the song writing team of Aaron Schroeder and Abner Silver, he founded Musicor Records and January Music Publishing in 1960. Schroeder along with David Grover co-wrote the scores for Terence Hill's 1990 film and TV series “Lucky Luke". Survivors include his wife Abby and daughter Rachel.
