Spaghetti Western Locations for “Companeros”

We continue the search for filming locations for 1970s “Companeros”. After disposing of the two Mexican revolutionaries that have confronted him at the train station Yodlaf walks into the main part of the village where Vasco is demonstrating his shooting prowess on melons to his men and forcing his kisses upon a young village woman who has been watching. Vasco immediately names him penguin. Vasco tosses a banana peel down in front of Yodlaf but Yodlaf carefully picks it up with his umbrella and gives Vasco a silver dollar telling him he just won a bet. Yodlaf then asks Vasco where he can find the best hotel in town and Vasco points behind him telling him it’s the only one they have. Yodlaf proceeds to the hotel and cantina while Vasco slips and falls on the banana peel.

The location for the town of San Bernardino was El Argamasón, Carboneras, Spain.
