Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Toma Dimitriu

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Toma Dimitriu was born in Tamaoani, Frumusita, Galati, Romania on April 27, 1908. He was a theater and film actor who graduated from Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 1932.In 1952, he plays his first role in the movies “Mitrea Cocor”. He would go on to appear in twenty-five films between 1952 and 1981. Films like “The Poseidon Explosion” (1973), “The Devil's Ravine” (1957) and “Razboiul domnitelor” (1970).

Toma also acted on the stage of the theater ''National'' in Bucharest.

He died on April 27, 1984, in Bucharest, Romania a week after turning 76.

Toma appeared in twenty-five films between 1952 and 1981.

Toma Dimitriu appeared in one Euro-western as Grey Elk in “Blutsbrüder” (Blood Brothers) in 1975.
