Laredo, Kent, England western town badley damaged by fire.

Laredo, a fantastic, authentic Western Town, here in the UK has had a bad fire and has taken down a lot of the buildings. This town was mainly built and used as a fun town for western fans to re live those late 1800’s. It was also used for movie makers as a ready built set to shoot the odd western movie, commercials and tv shows.

Now the rebuild begins, you can’t keep a cowboy/gal down fer long before they get up and start all over again. A Go-Fund Me page has been set up for donations.

Laredo was founded in 1971 by keen western enthusiast John Truder, and a group of like-minded friends. John (JT to his friends) had been around horses since he was a young boy and had owned and bred them on his small-holding for years. Laredo Western Club was formed when the group started to grow and needed a more structured organization. The beginnings of the town started some years later and has gradually grown to a complete town.
