A permanent exhibition dedicated to Ferrara cinema and to one of its greatest representatives: Florestano Vancini. The new project of Ferrara the city of cinema - the creative supply chain which, from training schools to work experiences, offers opportunities in the area for potential actors, directors and producers - was liked by the Emilia-Romagna Region which selected it as part of the Regional announcement on memory, dedicated to the figures who "marked the history of the Emilia-Romagna region in the 1900s, whose historical memory must be preserved and its transmission to the new generations guaranteed, as well as supporting in-depth and updated historical research". The Region financed the project with around 20,000 euros, the largest amount among those allocated. To this sum are added the contributions provided by the municipal administration, by Cna and by the Institute of Contemporary History.

The curator of the permanent exhibition will be Luca Siano, one of the leading national experts of cinema painters. The opening of the new exhibition - explains Stefano Muroni, president of Ferrara, the city of cinema - "is scheduled for September at Spazio Grisù, which together with us will promote the exhibition and which I thank for its great availability". The film art school dedicated to the director is located here today: "among other things, we will exhibit Vancini's memorabilia, his advertising kit, posters, photo envelopes, subjects, two and four sheet posters".

"Proud of this new result obtained by Ferrara, the city of cinema which confirms itself as a hotbed of ideas and initiatives appreciated throughout Italy - says councilor Marco Gulinelli - Ferrara is increasingly one of the capitals of cinema, in the sign of its tradition and with a direct look at the new generations ".
