SERIOUS injury for George Maharis in Spain on the set of “The Desperados”.
They were doing a scene where Indians were throwing torches to burn a town. One of the torches bounced off a wall, seared Maharis’ face very badly. He was to consult specialists in London to see if the scar can be removed.
Several accidents on this picture. In an explosion scene, a horse was blinded.
