The
Munich-based Yullwin Mak was born in Worms on August 25, 1962, as a "child
of cultures". The son of a native Chinese with humanistic education and a
German opera singer, he was born of love for music and the natural connection
between different worlds. So it is not surprising that he received the prerequisites
for his professional career as a musician through his parents in the form of a
piano and voice training and later studied musicology and composition.
At
the beginning of the 1990s, the sensitivity of the composer Yull-Win Mak was
not lost on a new musical world. He was made for his expressive sound images -
the world of film music. He composed and produced film and series music for TV
stations such as ZDF, ARD, ORF, SAT1, PRO7, ARTE and broadcast television
broadcasts such as u.a. "Tatort", "Alfredissimo",
"Mörderische Entscheidung", "Lilli Schönauer", "Let's
do it in Finnish" or "Fascination Bergfilm" all have their
musical signature.
In
parallel, Yullwin Mak also worked with nationally and internationally acclaimed
artists such as the "London Symphony Orchestra" under the direction
of Andrew Jackmann, Taylor Dayne, Bill Withers, Chris de Burgh, Mike Vernon
(Eric Clapton, Roger Chapman, Rod Stewart) or Konstantin Wecker together.
In
2013, the renowned composer Yullwin Mak transfered his passion and experience for
good music to the Y-MUSIC label. He thus found a future-oriented label, which
deliberately also refers to Generation-Y, the generation that was born around
the year 2000. For them, the digital world and the dynamics of globalization
are everyday objects of equal value. They are characterized by cosmopolitanism,
tolerance, creativity and a talent marked by curiosity.
