“Desperados!” starring Telly Savalas, portrays ex-parson Josiah Galt. He and his
sons are Confederate raiders but they become common robbers after the war, save
for son David who goes straight. Among the cast are Vince Edwards as David Galt
and the more obedient son Jacob Galt, portrayed by George Maharis. Maharis
replaced Jeffrey Hunter who was signed for the part but shortly thereafter died
from a fall at his home.
