Angela Portaluri was born on March 5 1937 in Maglie, Lecce, Italy. Angela was a contestant in the 1956 Miss Italy competition for Miss World but did not win losing to Nives Zegna. This exposure lead her to a short career in films from 1957-1973 and a total of 15 films. Angela is probably best remembered for her role in “I mostri” (Monster) in 1963 directed by Dino Risi and for 1968’s role in “Il medico della mutual” directed by Luigi Zampa. Portaluri appeared in three Euro-westerns: “Born to Kill” (1967), “Even Django has His Price” (1971) and “Everything For a Friend” in 1972. Retired now she lives in Faenz, Italy, Today we celebrate Angela Portaluri’s 75th birthday.
