  1. I think it's great that they're showing these films! The "other Sergio" made some tremendous Spaghetti Westerns. Django, Great Silence, Campaneros are as good as genre gets. Hellbenders, Navajo Joe, Minnesota Clay are good, highly watchable, fun movies. Particulary fascinated by how god awful bad his 1975 Spaghetti Western with many titles (Samurai, Red, Yellow & Black, etc) Starring Giuliano Gemma, Eli Wallach and Tomas Millian is. Millian as a japanese "geisha boy" is so weird and film is like an LSD trip. The theme song sung in broken English by the DeAngelis Brothers aka Oliver Onions is surrealistically crazy. Bravo Sergio Corbucci!

  2. Ditto everything you said. Unfortunately unlike Leone, who tried to better himself with each successive film Corbucci had some classics and some real duds.
