Jacob Diehl was born on October 25, 1901 in Ludwigshafen, Rhein Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. His first film appearance as Jac Diehl was in the 1935 short "Schnitzel fliegt" and he would go on to appear in over 50 films as a character and supporting actor. His last film appearance was in the 1966 TV film "Oben fährt der große Wagen". During his career he appeared in only one Euro-western as a cowboy in 1936's "The Emperor of California".
