RIP Rodolfo de Anda
Mexican actor, director, and producer Rodolfo de Anda died from complications of diabetes on February 1, 2010 in Mexico City. He was 66 years old. Rodolfo de Anda was born on July 6, 1943, in Mexico City. He was the son of producer, director, actor Raul de Anda. His brothers included producer Raul de Anda Jr. and director, actor Gilberto de Anda, and his son Rodolfo de Anda Jr. is currently the producer of the popular TV show "El Pantera," in which Rodolfo Sr. had a recurring role. Rodolfo de Anda was best known for his action films, but he also appeared in a number of fantasy pictures including: EL PUEBLO FANTASMA, SANTO VS. LAS LOBAS, MI FANTASMA Y YO, VAGABUNDO EN LA LLUVIA, ABRIENDO FUEGO, LA TUMBA DEL ATLANTICO, and LA ZONA DEL SILENCIO. He appeared in one Euro-western 1999's "One Man's Hero" starring Tom Berenger, with de Anda playing the role of General Ampudia.
