Gunfighter Lee Calloway (William Berger), agrees to help three outlaws break out of jail in exchange for half of their stolen gold. Calloway carries through with his end of the bargain, but the outlaws betray him and leave him in the desert to die. After wandering for days, Calloway is rescued by Esther (Jolanda Modio), who nurses him back to health only to trick him as well in order to collect the reward on his head.

  1. Tom, are you sure about the 102 min. running time? Back cover of Italian Centauro Video VHS says it runs 105 minutes but actually the film on the tape is just 94 minutes 40 seconds.

    C'Est La Vie DVD is 78 minutes 50 seconds. Dutch Sunrise Tapes version is something between 80 and 90 minutes, I don't remember. Even with heavy cuts, C'Est La Vie DVD has scenes that are not in the Sunrise Tapes release. Quite a mess.

  2. Smjango - you are probably correct. Someone may have taken the time which included previews, ads etc. I know when watching the film it didn't seem to be that long. Let's go with the Centauro Video and make it 95 minutes.
