Spaghetti Western Trivia ~ Colonel Mortimer

 

When Sergio Leone was casting “For a Few Dollars More” he selected Lee Marvin for the roles of Colonel Douglas Mortimer. Then Lee pulled out to take a co-starring role in “Cat Ballou”. Sergio then remembered Lee Van Cleef and signed him for the role. Everyone won in that Marvin got an Academy Award and  Lee relaunched his stalled film career.

Spaghetti Western Locations for “Run, Man, Run.”

We continue our search for filming locations of “Run, Man, Run”. After Cuchillo escapes from the windmill torture. Dolores comes upon the scene but is captured by the two bounty hunters and made to talk.

The scene was filmed at the windmill in Cabo de Gato, Spain.
