[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Another Italian character actor we know virtually nothing about. He was born in Novara, Italy on September 6, 1918, and appeared in over 35 films between 1962 and 1983. He was also a production manager on one film “C'era una volta un gangster” in 1969. Other than this basic information I can find no biographical information on him.
Mario appeared in thirty-three Spaghetti westerns. Because of his rough looking appearance, he was usually cast as gang members and henchman, saloon patrons and townsmen.
“Due Mafiosi nel Far West” (Two Mafiamen in the Far West in
1964as Cavallo Pazzo/Crazy Horse), “30 Winchester per El Diablo” (Gold Train) in
1965 as a Mexican henchman, “El Cisco” (Cisco) as Pedro, “Navajo Joe: as a
townsman, “Ramon il messicano” (Ramon the Mexican) as Francsico and “Giunse

Stranger Returns) as an En Plein henchman and “Per 100.000 dollari ti ammazzo”
(Vengeance is Mine) as a Jurago henchman all in 1967. “…e per tetto un cielo di
stelle” (And for a Roof a Sky Full of Stars) as a Pratt henchman. “Joe! Cercati
un posto per morire” (Find a Place to Die) as Chato, “Un buco in fronte” (A
