The countryside of Aprilia becomes a western village, complete with a saloon, church, prison, bank, duels and chases on horseback.

Not in a film set, but in the western village of Aprilia, where the new edition of "COLT: A Tale of Two Cities", the largest Italian event inspired by the Italian western, is staged.

Over 200 participants, including characters and extras, will transform this corner of the Pontine countryside into the Lone Town of the 1800s, the scene of intrigues, duels, raids and missions on horseback.

The project, born from an idea of Tiziano Carnevale and produced by Mauro Canavese's Spaghetti LARP APS cultural association, in collaboration with director Giovanni Bufalini, is not just an event, but a real live role-playing game that every year involves fans from all over Italy.

The village, with more than 4,000 square meters of floor space and over twenty buildings – from the saloon to the prison, from the bank to the post office – represents the largest permanent western-themed setting in the country.

Aprilia becomes Lone Town, in the Old West between justice and outlaws

The new chapter of the saga sees the city of Lone Town grappling with the aftermath of an era of chaos.

The last elections have brought back an apparent calm, but new threats loom, between expanding powers and tensions that have never subsided.

There will be missions outside the city limits, horse chases, stockpiles of values and raids, in a narrative that evolves dynamically according to the choices of the participants.

The city is also enriched with new structures: a bank, a private security agency in search of new gunslingers, a smoke shop and a church with a newly built bell tower, a symbolic place for those seeking redemption or spiritual refuge.

An experience for everyone

COLT doesn't need expensive costumes or theatrical experience: each participant builds their own character and lives their story.

Whether you choose to be a preacher, a bandit, a corrupt sheriff or a simple stranger, each role is part of a choral plot where "every choice has a weight".
