In the 1971 American western “A Gunfight” starring Kirk Douglas and Johnny Cash. It was filmed in New Mexico and was about two aging gunfighters in need of money come to an agreement to organize an actual showdown between them and sell tickets for it. The townsfolk is more than interested to see the "show". But the final gunfight was filmed in the Madrid bullring in Madrid, Spain.
The Madrid bullring was also seen in “For a Few Dollars More” and was seen during the escape of Indio from prison and in the closing scenes of "A Bullet for Sandoval".
