Polish actress Anna Casares was born Ana Urman in Stanislawów, Stanislawowskie, Poland on December 23, 1930. In 1933, her parents moved to Argentina where she learned acting from Hedy Crilla. Anna made her film debut in 1951 and debuted in the theatre in 1952. She appeared in 1951 in Juan Carlos Thorry's “El Complejo de Felipe”, and in 1962 in “Buscando a Mónica”. After 1962, she toured Europe, mainly in Spain where she performed in Madrid theatres. In 1968, she returned to Argentina1, where she continued her acting career until 1980. She was nicknamed "the Argentine Brigitte Bardot".
Anna died in She died in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the age of 77 from an apparent suicide on March 13, 2007. She was 76 years old.
Casares’ appeared in two Spaghetti westerns: “Due Mafiosi nel Far West” (Two Mafiamen in the Far West) in 1964 as Mary Simpson) and in 1966 as Dolly in “Sette donne per i MacGregor” (Up the MacGregors!).
