Jorge ‘Jordi’ Casares Peláez was born in Madrid, Spain on June 1, 1958. He is highly regarded as one of the best stunt coordinators in the business. Starting his career doubling Hollywood greats, Jordi progressed naturally to stunt coordinating, second unit directing and being a world-renowned horse master. His commitment and outstanding lifetime achievements have seen him garner a rare invite into AMPAS (the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, best known for their Oscar awards ceremony). Jordi is best known for his work on Narcos, the ‘Jack Ryan’ TV series, ‘Cloud Atlas’ and ‘Troy’ to name but a few! In all he’s worked in and on 84 films and television show since 1984 to the present day where he’s still active.
Casares has worked on an appeared in four Euro-westerns to date. “Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold” in 1984 as a stunt double for Laurene Landon, ‘The Wild West: Billy the Kid’ (TV) in 2006 as the stunt coordinator, “Blackthorn” in 2011 performing stunts, stunt coordinator and the stunt double Eduardo Noriega and “Without Blood” in 2024 as stunt coordinator.
