Robert Burton was an alias for French actor Guy Philippe Victor Mairesse. Guy was born in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne, France on June 14, 1924. He was a theater, film and TV actor. He was the son of Jean Victor Mairesse and Blanche de Montfaucon. Guy appeared in over 60 films and TV series between 1951 and 1982.
Guy Mairesse died in Paris on April 11, 2009, two months shy of turning 85.
Guy appeared in only one Spaghetti western as Donald MacIvers in 1972’s “Una ragione per vivere e una per morire” (Massacre at Fort Holman).
