Who Are Those Singers & Musicians? ~ Trio Los Payadores

 

Three Colombian singers and musicians consisting of brothers Alfonso Henao, Guillermo López Henao and Joaquín Mejía Uribe formed a trio in the 1940s and began recording for RCA. Then they and became international stars during the 1950s when they signed a contract with Hispavox Records in 1957. In 1968 they became a quartet by including female vocalist Giovanna. They were still performing and recording in the early 1980s.

The trio sang performed three songs in the 1964 Spaghetti western “Relevo para un pistolero”.
