[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Armando Casmonica was an Italian character actor and the brother of actor Luciano Casamonica [1957- ]. Both were the nephews of Italian Mafia mob boss Vittorio Casamonica [1940-2015]. I’ve always wondered what influence Vittorio had on getting both into the film industry.
Anyway, Armando’s only film appearance was his only Spaghetti western “Tepepa” (Blood and Guns) in 1968 as a young man shot by General Cascorr (Orson Welles) after shouting “Viva Revolution!” in front of him while shining the shoes of another man.
What’s become of Armando is unknown as I can find no biographical information on him.
