[These daily posts will cover little known actors or
people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees
of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can
add would be appreciated.]
Vivienne Bocca was born in Rome in the early 1950s as she appears as a teenager in her only credited films in 1965-1966. She appeared in only two films “Tentazioni proibite” (Forbidden Temptations) in 1965 and her only Spaghetti western film “Da uomo a uomo” (Death Rides a Horse) in 1966 where she plays Bill Meceita’s sister who is raped and murdered in the opening scene. Bill of course was played by John Phillip Law.
There is a Vivienne Bocca credited as a dancer in a 1957 production called “Off Stage” with Ram Gopal [1917-2003] and ballet dancer Kenneth Melville also the same Vivienne Bocca is credited in an article printed on April 2, 1960, in The Montreal Star about La Scala’s modern ballet presented in Milan, Italy. This I assume is her mother and would explain how she would have entered films for a short career.
