Happy 75th Birthday Fred Bongusto
Alfredo Bongusto was born on April 6, 1935 in Campobasso, Italy. Known by his stage name Fred Bongusto he debuted with his song “Bella Bellissima” in 1960. He became very popular in Italy during the 1960s and sang four main themes for Euro-westerns during this time: “Adios Gringo”, “Blood for a Silver Dollar”, “Kill or be Killed” and probably his most famous “Maybe One, Maybe Nine” for “One After the Other”. In the early 1990s Fred was elected a town councilman in Bari, Italy and has spent his time in politics ever since. He's been married to actress Gabriella Palazzoli since 1967. Today we celebrate Fred Bongusto's 75th birthday.
