Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ Alfonso Desentre

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Alfonso Desente studied Hispanic Philology. Postgraduate Degree in Film and Television Language en Universidad de Zaragoza

He is an actor and director with more than 30 years of experience, he has dozens of theatrical productions behind him; thousands of performances in numerous countries around the world; work in film, advertising and television; hundreds of dubbing; management and programming of international events and a long gallery of characters to whom he has stamped his personal stamp.

Born in 1961, in Zaragoza, Spain, he began at the Teatro Principal in Zaragoza with the historic Teatro del Alba company and later founded, together with María José Pardo, Teatro Imaginario.

He founded or contributed to various projects, companies, production companies, acting academies or halls, such as the Teatro de la Estación.

In his artistic baggage, among others, are “The Tunnel”, “Nights of Ephemeral Love“, “Madame Lucienne's Night”, “Caresses”, “Poet in New York”, “The Legend of the Holy Drinker” and “Last Words of Charles Baudelaire”.

In cinema he has participated in films such as “Goya's Ghosts”, “Paradise Drifters” and “Legacy in the Bones”.

On television he has participated in projects such as 'Aida', 'Águila roja', 'Acacias 38' and 'La catedral del mar', in addition to having done commercials.

In his dubbing facet he has 'lent' his voice to Robert Mitchum, John Hurt, Danny de Vito, Totó and Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Alfonso Desentre appeared in two recent Euro-westerns: “The Song of Crazy Ralph” as Ralph in 2022 and “The Bounty Hunter” as Douglas in 2025.
