French actor Michel Charrel died in Paris on February 14th. He was 89. Born Michel Pierre Victor Charrel on September 13, 1936, in Tarare, Rhône, France. He came from a family of farmers and miners and Charrel himself was a miner in Saint-Etienne for seven years, then a book worker in Paris before embarking on a career as an intermittent show business worker, as an actor and TV technician. Michel would go on to appear in 164 films and television appearances from 1962-2020 and an assistant director on one film and a TV series. Michel appeared in two Euro-westerns: The Girls of the Golden Saloon) in 1973 as Ringo and as the captain of the wagon train in Convoy of Women in 1974.
