Salvatore Schilirò is/was a Sicilian born musician who specialized in playing what the Italian’s call a guimbard but more commonly called the Jew’s or jaw’s harp and flute.
Schilliro is best remembered for his work with Ennio Morricone on the 1965 soundtrack “For a Few Dollars” more where his twanging Jew’s harp is featured.
I can find no other biographical information on him.
