50th anniversary of the premier of “4 of the Apocalypse”

Today marks the 50^th anniversary of the release of “I quattro dell’apocalise” (4 of the Apocalypse) directed by Lucio Fulci and starring Fabio Testi, Lynne Frederick, Tomas Milian, Michael J. Pollard and Harry Baird. The film tells the story of the adventures and travels of four petty criminals in 1873 Utah. They include a gambler and swindler named Stubby Preston (Fabio Testi). A pregnant prostitute named Bunny O'Neal (Lynne Frederick). A drunkard named Clem Michael J. Pollars), and a mentally disturbed man, named Bud (Harry Baird), who's obsessed with the dead. The four travel aimlessly through the Utah badlands looking for food, water and people to swindle, all the while they are harassed by a villainous Mexican bandit, named Chaco (Tomas Milian), whom Stubby vows revenge after the bandit sexually assaults Bunny.
