Behind the scenes: filming the famous train jump which was not so dangerous for Eli Wallach and Mario Brega after all. However, Wallach almost got his head taken off in the next scene when the train was filmed cutting through his handcuffs.
The train (which was stationary) jump scene lasted less
than a second on the screen, before cutting to stunt men hitting the ground
from the then moving train.
