Cyclone of the West
This comic book series was graphically inspired by the Albi di oro (Golden Albums) Prairie series, it was published independently for six issues and then merged for another three issues into the Albo traguardo (#25, #29, and #33). The series then ran for nine issues. Written by Owen Raeburn and illustrated by Johnny. Issue no. 4 features plates of Michelaccio (Pete the Tramp) by C. D. Russell. From issue no. 5, the appendix features red il cowboy, written by Rinaldi and illustrated by V. Ciolfi. The publisher is listed on the back cover as “Edizione Adriana.” Images were made by the Editorial Staff, Antonio Farina.
Ciclone del West was published in 1952 by A&A in Rome,
Italy by editor in chief Salvatore Marino. Issue #1 was published in July 1952
and ended with #33 on February 26, 1953. Each issue contained 28 black and
white pages with color covers.
