'Ayşecik' attracted great attention from the audience and became a serial film.
'Ayşecik' started the trend of movies starring child actors.
Turker Inanoglu... Famous producer - director.
Filiz Akin... Famous actress.
İlker İnanoğlu, the son of Türker İnanoğlu and Filiz
Akın, was only 4 years old when he appeared in front of the camera.
The screenplay of the 1969 drama / comedy 'Yumucak' was written by Safa Önal.
Ilker Inanoglu; He shared the lead role with his mother Filiz Akın in the direction of his father Türker İnanoğlu.
They were accompanied by Kartal Tibet and Hulusi Kentmen.
'Yumurcak', who thinks that his mother is dead and lives with his father, infuriates his neighbors and neighborhood shopkeepers every day with his mischief. His father, who works as a driver, has an accident and goes to prison. Events begin when her mother wants to take 'Yumurcak' with her.
When 'Yumurcak', played by İlker İnanoğlu, was highly appreciated by the audience, other films followed one after another.
In the second film of the series, 'The Child Under the Bridge', the characters were the same, but it had a different story than the previous one in terms of its subject.
Türker İnanoğlu was also the director and producer of the film.
Filiz Akın was again in the lead role.
Kartal Tibet, who played 'Nihat', was replaced by Cüneyt Arkın.
Written by Erdoğan Tünaş and Fuat Özlüer, 'Yumurcak
Köprüaltı Child' is about the struggle of a little boy who has to take care of
himself and his brother because his father is in trouble and his mother is
blind.
What was in the imaginations of children at that time was reflected in 'Sweet Dreams of the Egg'.
Astronaut, cowboy, diver, Zorro...
The 1971 film was directed by Türker İnanoğlu and written by Fuat Özlüer.
In the 3rd film of the series, which evolved into the adventure genre, İlker İnanoğlu and Filiz Akın were accompanied by Ediz Hun this time.
The interest in the first 3 films of the 'Yumurcak'
series led to the shooting of new films.
The 4th film was shot in the thriller genre 'Yumurcak Küçük Şahit' as a co-production between Turkey and Italy.
This time, Türker İnanoğlu took part in the film only as a producer, while the director was Italian Guido Zurli.
Directed by Guido Zurli, who has had a good career with films including the Italian version of 'Zorro', the leading male actor in 'Egg Little Witness' was Ekrem Bora this time.
In the film written by Fuat Özlüer, 'Yumurcak', who had
no credibility because he was constantly lying, told the story of what happened
to him as a result of no one believing a murder he witnessed.
The 5th film 'Egg Little Cowboy' was one of the films that Yeşilçam spent the most money on the shooting.
While Guido Zurli directed the Western genre 'The Little Cowboy', it became one of Yeşilçam's films with a screenwriter board.
The screenplay was written by Guido Zurli, Fuat Özlüer, Erdoğan Tünaş, Arpad De Riso.
Most of the film, in which Filiz Akın was not a part of the cast, was shot at Cinecitta Studios in Italy.
Some of them are in Göreme...
'Yumurcak Little Cowboy' became the first Turkish film to
be released most widely in European countries, while it was also shown on TV in
France.
Likewise, Guido Zurli, in an interview, said, "You
can keep Cüneyt Arkın in Turkey for a maximum of 6 more months. After 'Little
Cowboy' started to be shown in Europe, I don't think that the power of any
producer in Turkey would be enough to prevent him from emigrating to
Italy."
The Italian producers were very impressed by what Guido Zurli said about Cüneyt Arkın and crowded into the set even before the film was released.
They stated that they would make an offer if he agreed to stay in Italy.
However, a few days later, things took a turn when Cüneyt Arkın got into a fight with an Italian woman in a bar and punched her.
Italian producers' love affair with Cüneyt Arkın has come to an end.
Türker İnanoğlu described that incident as follows;
"Everybody rushed into the set. Producers, directors and so on all came to
see Cüneyt. One of the largest companies in the world has made a preliminary
agreement with it. Cüneyt's whole world would change. He would stay there for
eight months, first learning the language. Then he would have another four
months of training. A year later, they would explode as a star in the world!
Cüneyt is a man with a double soul. He had an alcohol problem. When he wasn't drinking,
he was the most gentlemanly man in the world. When he drank, he would be
aggressive and rapist. Then there is an Italian artist he met in Turkey. The
girl made a film in Turkey. He calls Cüneyt from the hotel. They meet, go to
the bar. He breaks her mouth and nose at the bar."
While the Italians said, "We don't want Cüneyt Arkın", the British became aware of Cüneyt Arkın after the film was released.
They made an offer for the legendary movie character 'James Bond'.
Cüneyt Arkın explained this issue as follows; "The guys came all the way here, but I didn't take kindly to it. And they made Roger Moore James Bond for me."
Cüneyt Arkın explained why he did not take kindly to the offer as follows; "There's no privacy in Hollywood. You can't travel as you wish, nor can you say a word or two with friends. I didn't have a private life here either, but at least I was in my nation. I was crowing in my own dumpster. Years later, we met Omar Sharif at a party; "I have everything, but I don't have a homeland," he told me. You're going to be stateless to be able to earn those dollars, my friend. That doesn't sit well with me."
Cüneyt Arkın, who pushed away the chance to become a
world-famous actor with his good looks and talents at the expense of a few
words with friends, may not have become famous abroad, but he stayed in Turkey
and became the actor who shot the most movies in the leading role in the world.
Let's go back to 'Egg'...
Directed by Orhan Aksoy, 'Yumurcak Veda' was the film in which Filiz Akın returned to the series.
'Yumurcak' is the son of a famous singer, this time wealthy. His father has died and he rarely sees his mother, who has a busy touring schedule.
The film, written by Erdoğan Tunas and Fuat Özlüer, was going to be the last film of the series, but an offer came from the French.
The French, who were fascinated by 'The Little Cowboy', made an offer to Türker İnanoğlu for a co-production.
The director and screenwriter would be French, and İlker
İnanoğlu and Filiz Akın would be accompanied by French actors.
Türker İnanoğlu said, 'Okay'.
Jean-Marie Pallardy, who also stars in 'A Troubled Holiday', written by Claude Lagarde, directed the screenplay.
The film, which is about the struggle of a man who has withdrawn his hands and feet from dirty work with the vigilantes who kidnapped his son, attracted attention in both Turkey and France, but the 'Yumurcak' series has come to an end.
Because İlker İnanoğlu had reached the age where he could
no longer be an egg.
'Yumurcak' has gained a place in Turkish cinema as the film that paved the way for co-productions by being the most widely screened abroad.
In addition, although he did not evaluate it, he made
Cüneyt Arkın noticed abroad.
