[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Nazzareno Cardinali was born in Rome on March 22, 1933, into a large family - he had four other siblings, Orlando, Isa, Maria Assunta and Luciano. Nazzareno Cardinali grew up in the Centocelle district of Rome, where he lived all his life. In 1968, in Civitavecchia, he met Alida De Simone, whom he married shortly after, and with whom he had two sons: Alessandro, born in 1969 and Massimiliano, born in 1971. Alida, who had been ill for some time, died on Christmas Eve 1984, leaving Nazzareno with his two young children. He continued to work in cinema playing roles in crime and action, and continuing to live in his beloved neighborhood that still remembers him with affection today. Nazzareno Cardinali died in 1996, taken ill while dancing in a club.
