Alain François Emery was born on August 5, 1940, in Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. He made his mark as a child actor in four films from 1953 to 1958. He starred as Mato in the 1964 French TV series “Les indiens” (The Indians) and sang the main theme song. Emery is still alive today as of this writing but lives an isolated lifestyle in the French village of Alpilles.
