18 Spaghetti Western Loations ~ “Bad Man’s River”

 

We begin a new search for film locations and this trip it will be for the scenes found in 1972’s “Bad Man’s River” starring Lee Van Cleef, Gina Lollobrigida, James Mason and Gianni Garko. We begin with the opening scene of an armored coach looking much like the vehicle in John Wayne’s “The War Wagon” being driven into a western town with a dozen armed guards riding alongside and another dozen or so guards waiting for the coach in the town. The gold is unloaded and put into the bank.   

This scene was filmed in Colemenar Viejo, Spain.
