  1. The crew member who set off the explosion in the finale to "Fistful Of Dollars" was none other than Andre Acuna. He was hired by Sergio Leone to do the powder charge for the end of "Fistful Of Dollars" when other crew members refused. Acuna was a veteran of both the Spanish Civil War and World War II. His wife, Lora, had an uncredited role as a party guest during the scene where Ramon Rojo invites Blondie to his hacienda for the barbecue. Andre also had an uncredited role as the Mexican man who rides out of San Miguel on a mule with a note reading "Adios Amigos" pinned to his back. Andre Luis Lopez Diaz Acuna was born on September 12, 1914, in Almeria, Spain, and died on November 30, 1999 in Los Angeles, California. He would appear in other Spaghetti Westerns, albeit in uncredited roles, including, "Django" from 1966, where he played a member of Major Jackson's gang of Ku Klux Klansmen, "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" also from 1966, where he played the Angel Eyes henchman up on the roof, "Arizona Colt" from 1966, where he had an uncredited role as a Mexican officer, and "Garringo" from 1969 where he had an uncredited role as a Union Army officer that Peter Lee Lawrence as Johnny kills in the film. "Aim for the heart, Ramon. Hit the heart or you'll never stop me." That's right, Ramon. You better aim for Blondie's heart if you wanna kill him. But then again, nobody kills the Man With No Name.
