Who Are Those Guys? ~ Alberto Cevenini

Alberto Cevenini was born in Rome, Italy in 1941 (some sources say 1935). He was the nephew of the opera singer Elisabetta Barbato [1921-2014], after graduating from the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Rome, he began acting as a theatrical actor and fotoromanzi magazines. In 1959 he worked with Tina Pica in the farce ‘Giacomino and the Mother-in-Law’, directed by Pica, in which he played Luigino, Carmelina's boyfriend, which was broadcast on television. Alberto made his big screen debut in 1961 in the film “La rivolta dei mercenary” by Piero Costa. He returned to television in 1963 playing in Marilù, a comedy by Giana Anguissola in which he plays Antonio Centanari. Up until 1967 he participated in some films especially of historical genres, spaghetti westerns and espionage. Among the films in which he took part were “Le gladiatrici” in 1963 by Antonio Leonviola in the part of Siros and “Hercules Against Rome” in 1964 by Piero Pierotti in the role of Dario. In 1965 he appeared in the cast of the film “Juliet of the Spirits” by Federico Fellini; the following year he played in the television drama ‘Vita di Michelangelo’ by Giorgio Prosperi.

Cevenini was billed under the Americanized alias of Kirk Bert in several films. He died on August 16, 1975.
