Series VI of the I
Banditi del West comic book was entitled “Frisco Jim”, a western series
drawn by Lina Buffolente. Our hero is Jim, who was introduced in series VI, but
who now has become a frontier adventurer. Jim’s faithful companion is his dog
Folgor and he has an Indian companion named Freccia Bianca .
This comic strip was released in 27 numbered editions and
was 32 pages in length. Thus begins the actually numbering of the series. The
series ran from February 1, 1951 to August 2, 1951.
