Remembering Bud and Terence

Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, between a scazzotata and a plate of beans, all the cult scenes that made them immortal (photos, video)

Double Trouble

1984 Non c’รจ due senza quattro, Regia di E.B. Clucher

The fact, dear cousin, that the villain Lord himself is called Tango in the country of Samba, makes you immediately understand ... what a jerk he is.

Elliot Vance (Terence Hill) is a stuntman, Greg Wonder (Bud Spencer) is a jazz saxophonist on probation. The only thing they have in common is that they are the perfect look-alike of two billionaire Brazilian cousins. The latter in fact, after receiving death threats, recruits them to replace them for a week at the end of which they will reappear to sign an important contract without incident. All for a fee of one million dollars. Elliot and Greg agree, but the difference in style of the look-alikes leads to unexpected situations from the the two billionaire persecutors.

You know, all work and no fun, morale goes down.

Curiosity: In the scene where Elliot and Greg are visiting the banana plantation, the latter is said to have been in Brazil, when he was a seeker of diamonds. Bud Spencer, a young man, he really lived in Brazil: he was employed at the Italian Consulate in Recife.
