RIP Marc Cassot
French stage and film
actor Marc Cassot died in Paris, France on January 21, 2016. He was 92. Born in
Paris on June 16, 1923, Cassot was first a theater actor then went into films
but was best remembered as a voice dubber for such actors as Paul Newman, Steve
McQueen, Richard Harris, Christopher Lee and many others. He voiced actors and
animated characters in over one hundred films. As far as Euro-westerns go he
was the voice of a guard in “God Forgives.. I Don’t (1967) and the voice of
George Peppard in Cannon for Cordoba (1970).
